There is nothing to apply for. Carry your orders and military ID with your licence, and renew the licence within 30 days after your discharge or your return to Maryland.

Your active duty orders showing you are stationed outside Maryland, and your military ID or dependent ID.

Eligibility

  • You hold a Maryland driver’s license
  • You are an active duty service member stationed outside Maryland, or the dependent of one
