Maryland Nonresident Vehicle Permit for Nonresident Service Members

Maryland Department of Transportation, Motor Vehicle Administration (MVA)
$27 permit in place of Maryland vehicle registration

If you are stationed in Maryland for 60 days or more you can keep your vehicle registered in your home state and buy a $27 nonresident permit sticker instead of registering the vehicle in Maryland. The sticker is good for one year or until your current registration expires, whichever comes first.
