You can take a full-time, paid, year-round conservation job on Maryland public lands, working with the Maryland Park Service and Department of Natural Resources on trail building and maintenance, facilities work, educational programs, recreation management, park operations, volunteer coordination, special events, mentoring, tree planting, stream and wetland restoration, stream surveys, habitat restoration and large regional conservation projects. Members serve for one year, with the possibility of contract renewal. Experience or education in park operations, recreation, education, business, administration, forestry, social sciences or natural resources is preferred but not required.
