Massachusetts Disabled Veteran License Plate

Massachusetts Registry of Motor Vehicles (RMV)
Disabled Veteran plates plus exemption from licence fees, registration fee, sales tax and excise tax

Resident veterans with a service-connected disability rating of at least 60 percent who also meet the Registry’s disability plate guidelines get one set of Disabled Veteran license plates. Holding the plate also exempts you from driver’s licence fees, the vehicle registration fee, sales tax and motor vehicle excise tax, though the excise exemption is granted by your local assessor rather than the Registry.
