Massachusetts High School Diplomas for Wartime Veterans

Your local Massachusetts Veterans Service Officer, overseen by the Executive Office of Veterans Services
High school diploma awarded

If you left a Massachusetts high school before graduating to serve in World War II, Korea or Vietnam, the state can award you a high school diploma. A diploma can also be awarded after a veteran has died.

How to apply

Contact your local Massachusetts Veterans Service Officer, who handles the application. A family member can apply on the veteran’s behalf.

What you'll need

Your DD214 showing service in one of the qualifying wartime periods and an honorable discharge, and the name of the Massachusetts high school you left.

Eligibility

  • You are a Massachusetts resident
  • You left a Massachusetts high school before graduating to serve in the U.S. Armed Forces
  • You served during World War II, Korea or Vietnam
  • You received an honorable discharge
