Military Leave for Massachusetts Civil Service Employees

Your Massachusetts civil service employer, through its human resources office
34 paid days per state fiscal year for National Guard members, 17 days per year for Reserve members

You can take leave from your Massachusetts civil service job for military duty. National Guard members get 34 paid days in a state fiscal year, or 17 paid days in a federal fiscal year. Reserve members get 17 days in a calendar year, and whether those days are paid is up to your employer.
