Minnesota Market Value Exclusion on Homestead Property for Disabled Veterans

Local Minnesota county assessor’s office
$150,000 of market value excluded at 70 to 99 percent, or $300,000 at 100 percent total and permanent

You can have part of your home’s market value taken out of the property tax calculation, which lowers your property tax bill. The exclusion is $150,000 if your service-connected disability rating is at least 70 percent but less than 100 percent, and $300,000 if you have a 100 percent total and permanent service-connected rating.
