If you are a Mississippi resident stationed outside the state, you and the dependents living with you can renew a Mississippi driver’s licence by mail once it is within six months of expiring.

How to apply

Mail a copy of your Mississippi driver’s licence, the first page of your military orders assigning you to your current duty station, a certified check or money order for the fees made out to the Department of Public Safety, and a self-addressed stamped envelope to Department of Public Safety, Office of Central Print, P.O. Box 1459, Jackson, MS 39046.

Eligibility

  • You are a Mississippi resident serving in the U.S. Armed Forces and stationed outside Mississippi, or a dependent living with one
  • Your Mississippi driver’s licence is within six months of expiring
