If you left high school before graduating to serve in the U.S. Armed Forces, a Mississippi school district may award you an honorary high school diploma. Qualifying service periods are 1941 to 1955 and 1963 to 1973. A family member can apply on behalf of a veteran who has died.
Contact the Mississippi school district where you attended high school and ask about an honorary diploma. Districts may award the diploma but are not required to.
