Mississippi State Veterans Nursing Home Daily Charge Exemption

Mississippi Veterans Affairs, State Veterans Nursing Homes
No daily resident charge at a Mississippi State Veterans Nursing Home

Mississippi does not charge a daily resident fee at a State Veterans Nursing Home if you need nursing-home care for a VA-adjudicated service-connected disability, you have a combined service-connected rating of 70 percent or more, or you are paid at 100 percent for individual unemployability and need nursing-home care. If you cannot pay, you may ask for help with the cost of care.
