Missouri Driver License Renewal Accommodations for Service Members and Families

Missouri Department of Revenue, Motor Vehicle and Driver Licensing Division
Early and remote renewal, and renewal without the full examination for up to six months after discharge

You can renew a driver license, permit or non-driver license early at a local license office before you leave the state or country. Service members and their dependents can also renew by mail, email or fax using the Department of Revenue mail-in driver license application. If you were discharged from active duty with an expired license, you have 90 days to establish residency or six months from your discharge date, whichever comes first, to renew without taking the full examination.
