Missouri Job Centers have staff dedicated to veterans, service members leaving the U.S. Armed Forces and their spouses. You can get career and training counselling, a skills assessment, an individual employment plan, job readiness assessments including interviews and testing, help with resumes, cover letters and interviewing, job placement help and job search workshops, labor market information, computer and internet access, and referrals to jobs, training and supportive services. Financial assistance of up to $1,500 is also available for overdue bills and for childcare and transportation costs tied to training and employment. Every service is free.
