Missouri Professional License Reciprocity for Service Members

Missouri Division of Professional Registration licensing boards and commissions
Missouri license issued in the same profession and practice level as your existing license

You can apply for a Missouri professional license on the strength of a valid license you already hold from another state, a territory or a branch of the U.S. Armed Forces. You have to have been licensed for at least one year in the other jurisdiction, and the Missouri license will be in the same profession at the same practice level.

Apply to the Missouri licensing board for your profession and include proof of your out-of-state or military license and how long you have held it.

What you'll need

Your current license from the other state, territory or armed forces branch, documentation that you have held it for at least one year, and your military service documentation.

  • You are a service member
  • You hold a valid professional license from another state, a territory or a branch of the U.S. Armed Forces
  • You have been licensed in that jurisdiction for at least one year
  • You are applying for a Missouri license in the same profession at the same practice level
