Missouri State Veterans Cemeteries

Missouri Veterans Commission
No cost grave opening and closing, grave liner, headstone or niche cover, and perpetual care

Missouri has five state veterans cemeteries providing burial for veterans and their eligible family members: Bloomfield, Fort Leonard Wood in Waynesville, Higginsville, Jacksonville and Springfield. Each provides opening and closing of the grave, a concrete grave liner if your family does not buy a vault, an upright granite headstone or columbarium niche cover, and perpetual care, all at no cost. There is no residency requirement.
