Montana Vehicle Registration Fee and Cemetery Fee Waivers for Veterans and Surviving Spouses

Local Montana county treasurer office, with the Montana Motor Vehicle Division
Registration fees waived, and the veterans cemetery fee waived on some plates

Your motor vehicle registration fees, and in some cases the Montana veterans cemetery fee, can be waived when you buy military or veteran license plates. An unremarried surviving spouse can qualify too. The cemetery fee is not waived on the Purple Heart plate path for a veteran rated 50 percent or more.
