Montana State Veterans Cemeteries

Montana Veterans Affairs Division
Burial at a state veterans cemetery, at the fees set out in the published interment fee schedule

Montana has three state veterans cemeteries, at Fort Harrison, Miles City and Missoula, plus the Apsaalooke Veterans Cemetery at Crow Agency administered by the Crow Tribe of Indians. Each offers full-size casket burial, a columbarium niche or cremated remains burial, with a gravesite service, opening and closing of the grave, and perpetual care. The federal government provides headstones and niche covers, and there is no requirement to be a Montana resident.
