If you are the spouse or child of a Montana National Guard member who was killed by an injury, disease or other disability received in the line of duty on state active duty, your tuition is waived at Montana University System campuses.

The service member’s line of duty determination and death documentation, and proof of your relationship to them.

Eligibility

You are the surviving spouse or child of a Montana National Guard service member
The service member was killed by an injury, disease or other disability received in the line of duty while serving on state active duty
You are enrolled at a Montana University System campus
You do not have comparable education financial assistance from another government or private benefit program
