How to apply

Send a completed Nebraska Game and Parks Commission Application for Veteran Permits to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, 3800 Village Drive, Lincoln NE 68516-4737 for certification. If you already hold the Disabled Veteran's Lifetime Small Game Hunt, Fish and Fur Harvest Permit, send it instead to the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission, Permit Section, PO Box 30370, Lincoln NE 68503-0370.

What you'll need

Proof you are a Nebraska resident, your DD214 showing an honorable or general (under honorable conditions) discharge, and VA documentation of your disability rating or pension.

Eligibility

  • You are a Nebraska resident
  • You received an honorable or general (under honorable conditions) discharge
  • You have a service-connected disability rating of 50 percent or more, or a 100 percent non-service-connected disability rating and are receiving a VA pension
