You can get a 75% tuition credit, or 50% for a graduate or professional degree, at University of Nebraska campuses, Nebraska State Colleges and Nebraska Community Colleges if you are a Nebraska resident serving in a Nebraska-based reserve component unit. The program takes 200 new applicants each calendar year, and once you qualify there is no lifetime cap on the credit.
Complete the Nebraska Application for Reservist Tuition Credit, have your unit complete Part II, and send it to the Nebraska Department of Veterans' Affairs, ATTN: Reservist Tuition Credit, PO Box 95083, Lincoln NE 68509-5083, or upload it through the NDVA confidential document upload page.
The application with Part II completed by your unit, proof of Nebraska residency, and your enrollment information from a participating school.
