If you are wounded, injured, disabled or killed in the line of duty while serving on state active duty with the Nevada National Guard, you or your survivors are covered for compensation and benefits under the Nevada Industrial Insurance Act, the state’s workers compensation law.

Report the injury through your chain of command and file a claim under the Nevada Industrial Insurance Act. Survivors should contact the Nevada National Guard and the Nevada Department of Veterans Services.

What you'll need

Your state active duty orders, a line of duty determination, and medical records for the injury or illness. Survivors also need the death certificate and proof of relationship.
