Nevada Attorney General’s Office of Military Legal Assistance

Nevada Office of the Attorney General, Office of Military Legal Assistance (OMLA)
Free civil legal assistance and representation, including wills and powers of attorney

You can get free legal help and representation in a wide range of civil law matters, and for wills and powers of attorney, if you are serving on active duty, in the U.S. Armed Forces Reserves or in the National Guard. The office is a statewide program run with legal aid organizations, private sponsors and the State Bar of Nevada.

What you'll need

Proof of your current service, such as your military ID or orders, and the papers for the legal matter you need help with.

Eligibility

  • You are serving on active duty, in the U.S. Armed Forces Reserves or in the Nevada National Guard
  • You need help with a civil law matter, a will or a power of attorney
