Nevada System of Higher Education, through each state college and university
Resident tuition and lab fees waived for up to 10 years

If your parent or spouse was permanently stationed in Nevada and was declared a prisoner of war or missing in action, your resident tuition and lab fees are waived at state supported colleges and universities. A child can use the waiver for 10 years after turning 18, or for 10 years from enrollment if they enroll before 18. A spouse can use it for 10 years after the date the service member was declared a prisoner of war or missing in action. The waiver is not available at the William S. Boyd School of Law, the University of Nevada School of Medicine, or the University of Nevada, Las Vegas School of Dental Medicine.
