Transferred tuition waiver at a New Hampshire Community College or University System of New Hampshire school

If your husband or wife serves in the New Hampshire National Guard, they can transfer their tuition waiver to you once they finish an initial mandatory service obligation of at least six years. You can use it at a New Hampshire Community College or at a University System of New Hampshire school. The program is scheduled to be repealed on July 1, 2027.

How to apply

The Guard member starts the transfer. Have them contact the New Hampshire Army National Guard Education Office at 603-225-1207.

What you'll need

Your marriage certificate, your spouse's service record showing at least six years of the initial mandatory service obligation completed, and your school enrollment information.

Eligibility

  • You are the spouse of a New Hampshire National Guard service member
  • Your spouse has completed an initial mandatory service obligation of at least six years
  • Your spouse accepts a four year additional service obligation from the date the benefit is transferred
  • You are enrolled at a New Hampshire Community College or at a University System of New Hampshire school
