Purple Heart recipients can get one Purple Heart license plate for a vehicle and one for a motorcycle. The plate can be transferred to an unremarried surviving spouse after the veteran dies.

Official documentation that you received the Purple Heart, and, if you are a veteran, proof of your honorable discharge.

You are registering a vehicle or motorcycle in New Hampshire
You received the Purple Heart, or you are the unremarried surviving spouse of a Purple Heart recipient
If you are a veteran, you received an honorable discharge
