• You were discharged from active duty in the U.S. Armed Forces under conditions other than dishonorable, died while serving on active duty, served at least 20 years in the National Guard or Reserves and qualified for military retired pay, or were a reserve component member activated for federal service
• You are the veteran, or the spouse or dependent of an eligible veteran, with burial of dependent children limited to unmarried children under 21, under 23 if a full-time student at an approved educational institution, or a child who develops a lifelong disability before age 21
