You can add service decals to New Hampshire Veteran decal license plates showing your branch of service or a medal you received. Decals cover medals for valor (Medal of Honor, Distinguished Service Cross, Navy Cross, Air Force Cross, Silver Star, Bronze Star with "V" Device), for heroism (Distinguished Flying Cross, Army Soldier’s Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Medal, Airman’s Medal, Coast Guard Medal) and for distinguished service (the Distinguished Service Medal of each service, the Defense and Homeland Security Distinguished Service Medals, the Defense Superior Service Medal and the Legion of Merit). Each decal costs $10.
Mail a completed New Hampshire Veteran Multi-Use Decal Plate order form, the $10 fee per decal, your proof of eligibility and a self-addressed envelope to NHDVS c/o Service Decals, 275 Chestnut Street Rm. 517, Manchester, NH 03101. For questions call 603-624-9230, ext. 301.
Official documentation of four or more years of active or reserve service and an honorable discharge, or proof that you are still serving, plus documentation of any medal decal you order. NH RS 21:50 lists the documents New Hampshire accepts.
