New Hampshire Vietnam War Bonus

$100 one-time bonus

New Hampshire pays a $100 bonus if you served on active duty for 90 days or more between August 5, 1964 and August 15, 1973, or served in Vietnam between July 1, 1958 and August 5, 1964 and earned the Vietnam Service Medal or the Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal.

Call the New Hampshire Department of Military Affairs and Veterans Services at 603-225-1200 to start a bonus claim.

What you'll need

Your DD214 showing the qualifying service dates, an honorable discharge, documentation of the Vietnam Service Medal or Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal if you are claiming on that basis, and proof you were a New Hampshire resident when you enlisted.

Eligibility

  • You were a New Hampshire resident at the time of enlistment
  • You received an honorable discharge
  • You served on active duty in the U.S. Armed Forces for 90 days or more between August 5, 1964 and August 15, 1973, or you served in Vietnam between July 1, 1958 and August 5, 1964 and earned the Vietnam Service Medal or the Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal
