You can buy New Jersey hunting and fishing licences at resident prices if you are serving on active duty but are not a New Jersey resident.

Buy your licence at a licence agent location with proof of active duty service, or contact NJDFWLicenses@dep.nj.gov.

What you'll need

Proof of active duty service, and a certificate showing you completed an approved hunter education course if you are buying a hunting licence.

You are a nonresident service member serving on active duty in the U.S. Armed Forces
You can show proof of active duty service when you buy the licence
If you are buying a hunting licence, you have completed an approved hunter education course
