New Mexico Interstate Compact on Educational Opportunity for Military Children

Military Interstate Children’s Compact Commission, with New Mexico public school districts
Enrollment, placement, eligibility and graduation protections for military children

New Mexico belongs to the interstate compact that smooths school transitions for military children. It speeds up enrollment when records have not arrived, keeps differences between states in attendance rules, scheduling, course content, grading and assessment from holding your child back, protects eligibility for educational programs and extracurricular activities, and helps your child graduate on time.
