You can choose from 14 special license plate designs honoring service members, veterans, retired service members and family members. They can go on passenger vehicles and light trucks under 26,000 pounds. Each plate has its own eligibility and documentation rules.
Mail the Application for Military Service Special Plate with your DD214, any other proof of eligibility and the required fees to the Motor Vehicle Division, Vehicle Services Bureau, PO Box 1028, Santa Fe NM 87504-1028. The Gold Star Family plate uses its own separate application.
