If you are hurt, become ill, become disabled or die in the line of duty while serving under military orders with the New Mexico National Guard, you are covered for medical care and compensation under the New Mexico Workers’ Compensation Act. Coverage includes travel to and from your place of duty.

Eligibility

  • You are a New Mexico National Guard service member serving under military orders, or the survivor of one
  • You were injured, became ill, became disabled or died in the line of duty, including while travelling to or from your place of duty
