New York Interstate Compact on Educational Opportunity for Military Children (MIC3)

New York State Education Department, through the Military Interstate Children’s Compact Commission
Enrollment, placement, eligibility and graduation protections for military children

New York belongs to the interstate compact that removes school barriers for children of military families who move often. It speeds up enrollment when records have not arrived, keeps differences between states in attendance rules, scheduling, sequencing, grading, course content and assessment from disadvantaging your child, protects eligibility for programmes and extracurricular activities, and supports on-time graduation.
