New York State Department of Labor Employment Assistance for Veterans

New York State Department of Labor
Free employment services with priority of service

New York Career Centers give veterans free help finding work, with Disabled Veterans’ Outreach Program Specialists providing intensive case management for veterans with significant barriers to employment, and Local Veterans’ Employment Representatives working with employers on job matching and placement. Services include assessments, individual employment plans, job referrals, referrals to training and support services, and resume and interview preparation. Veterans and eligible spouses get priority of service, meaning you are served first by the next available staff member and get first priority for jobs and training.
