A place in the state Department of Veterans’ Services speakers’ pool

Veterans can join a state speakers’ pool and be invited into classrooms to talk about a particular era of American military history alongside the regular instruction.

How to apply

Email the New York State Department of Veterans’ Services at DVSInfo@veterans.ny.gov with the subject line "Veterans Speaker Program" to request an application. You then complete a short application and interview with DVS.

The short application, and your availability for an interview with the Department of Veterans’ Services.
