North Carolina Interstate Compact on Educational Opportunity for Military Children (MIC3)

North Carolina Department of Public Instruction, through the Military Interstate Children’s Compact Commission
Enrollment, placement, eligibility and graduation protections for military children

The interstate compact removes school barriers your children face because of military moves and deployments. It speeds up enrollment when records have not arrived, stops differences in attendance rules, scheduling, sequencing, grading, course content and assessment from disadvantaging your child, protects eligibility for programs and extracurricular activities, and supports on-time graduation.
