North Carolina Veterans Employment Assistance

North Carolina Department of Commerce, Division of Workforce Solutions
Free employment services with priority of service

You can get free help finding work at NCWorks Career Centers, including career assessments, labor market information, training, job fairs and workshops, interview preparation, resume and cover letter help, computers and internet access, and priority of service for federal employment and training programs. Veterans facing significant barriers to work also get an employability plan, individual and group coaching, and referrals to vocational rehabilitation, transportation, elder care, food and nutrition services and organizations that address homelessness. The NCWorks Veterans Portal gathers these resources in one place.
