Your professional license application is processed faster if you are a service member stationed in North Dakota or the spouse of one. If you already hold a valid license from another jurisdiction and substantially meet North Dakota’s requirements, the board has to finish your application within 30 days of receiving it. If it cannot issue a full license, it issues a temporary one, good for two years while you work toward full licensure, and it cannot charge you a fee for the temporary license.
Contact the licensing board or agency that regulates your profession, tell them you are applying as a service member or military spouse, and submit your application with your out of state license details.
Your current license from the other jurisdiction, the service member’s orders assigning them to North Dakota, and a marriage certificate if you are applying as a spouse.
