Free tutoring, advising and enrollment assistance

You can get free tutoring and academic advising to help you enroll in a college or technical training program and succeed once you are there. It covers basic arithmetic through pre-calculus, English composition, literature, reading and public speaking, computer and study skills, career guidance, college application and enrollment help, VA Readiness and Employment help, financial aid application help, and referrals to remove other barriers to education.

Contact the Veterans Educational Training Program through North Dakota State University, which runs the program with the North Dakota Department of Veterans Affairs and the State Board of Higher Education.

What you'll need

Proof of your service, such as a DD214 or a military ID if you are still serving.

Eligibility

  • You have served, or are currently serving, in an active or reserve component of the U.S. Armed Forces
