If you hold a valid Ohio educator license and are called to active duty from a reserve component, your license can be extended for the length of your active duty service so it does not lapse while you are away.
Contact the Ohio State Board of Education educator licensure office with your active duty orders to request the extension.
Your active duty orders, your current Ohio educator license, and your discharge paperwork showing an honorable discharge when your service ends.
