If you are an Ohio National Guard member enrolled in Servicemembers’ Group Life Insurance, Ohio can reimburse your premium payments for the time you are ordered to state or federal active duty. It does not cover full-time National Guard duty or special work.

What you'll need

Your state or federal active duty orders and Leave and Earnings Statements showing the SGLI premiums you paid.

You participate in the Servicemembers’ Group Life Insurance program
You were ordered to state or federal active duty
You were not performing full-time Ohio National Guard duty or special work
