100 percent of public college tuition, or 100 percent of state average tuition at a participating private college

If you serve in the Ohio National Guard, this scholarship pays 100 percent of tuition at state funded public colleges, or 100 percent of the state average tuition if you attend a participating private college. Enlisting for three to five years covers 48 semester hours; enlisting for six years covers 96. It pays only after your federal and Department of Defense education assistance has been applied to tuition.

Proof of your Ohio National Guard enlistment and good standing with your unit, and your enrollment information for a participating school.

Eligibility

You have enlisted in the Ohio National Guard for at least three years
You are in good standing with your unit
You are pursuing a bachelor’s degree, associate degree, or a professional license or certification at a participating school in Ohio
