File the Oklahoma Tax Commission Annual Withholding Tax Exemption Certification for Military Spouse (Form OW-9-MSE) with your employer so Oklahoma tax is not withheld.

What you'll need

Your service member spouse's orders assigning them to Oklahoma, proof that you and your spouse share the same state of residency, and your marriage certificate.

Eligibility

  • You are the spouse of a nonresident service member
  • Your service member spouse is stationed in Oklahoma under military orders
  • You are in Oklahoma to be with your service member spouse
  • You have the same state of residency as your service member spouse
