As an Oklahoma state employee serving in a reserve component, you get 30 days of paid military leave each federal fiscal year when you are ordered to active or inactive duty, without losing status or seniority. If your duty runs past 30 days you can use accrued holidays, annual leave or leave without pay, and the state pays you the difference between your full regular state pay and your military base pay.
Give your agency's human resources office a copy of your military orders and request military leave.
Your orders for inactive duty training, annual training or active duty, and your military pay information if you are claiming the pay difference.
