Fixed-rate financing up to the Fannie Mae limit, for up to four loans in a lifetime

You can get fixed-rate financing for an owner-occupied single family home through the state’s own veteran home loan program. Financing is available up to the Fannie Mae limit, and you can use the program for up to four home loans in your lifetime.

How to apply

Submit a completed ODVA Veterans’ Home Loan Eligibility Form with proof of your honorable discharge, by post to 700 Summer Street NE, Salem OR 97301, by fax to 503-373-2393, or through the ODVA secure upload link. For help call 800-633-6826 or 503-373-2373.

What you'll need

A completed eligibility form and documentation that you received an honorable discharge, such as your DD214.

Eligibility

  • You are a veteran who received an honorable discharge from active duty service in the U.S. Armed Forces
  • You served more than 90 consecutive days beginning on or before January 31, 1955, served more than 178 consecutive days, served less than 178 days and have a service-connected disability rating from the VA, served at least one day in a combat zone, received a combat or campaign ribbon or an expeditionary medal, or receive a non-service-connected disability pension from the VA
  • You are financing an owner-occupied single family residence
  • You have used fewer than four ODVA home loans in your lifetime
