Oregon Department of Veterans’ Affairs Representative Payee Services

Oregon Department of Veterans' Affairs (ODVA)
State-provided bill paying and budgeting support

ODVA can act as your representative payee, paying bills on your behalf. That usually covers housing, utilities and required care costs, and providing allowances for food, transport, clothing and medication. Staff also work with you one to one to assess your monthly income and expenses, set a budget, set up debt payment plans, provide personal expense money, prioritize needs over wants and set savings goals. They follow VA, Social Security Administration and Consumer Financial Protection Bureau guidelines, monitor accounts for resource limits, provide financial reports and advocate for other benefits you may be entitled to.
