Pennsylvania Amputee and Paralyzed Veteran Pension

County Director of Veterans Affairs in your Pennsylvania county, with the Pennsylvania Department of Military and Veterans Affairs
$150 per month

You receive $150 a month if a service-connected injury or disease cost you the loss, or the loss of use, of two or more limbs.

How to apply

Contact the County Director of Veterans Affairs in the county where you live, not the state. You can also email RA-MVVeteransPension@pa.gov.

What you'll need

Your DD214 showing an honorable discharge, proof you were a Pennsylvania resident when you entered service, and VA documentation showing at least a 40 percent disability compensation rating in each affected limb.

Eligibility

  • You received an honorable discharge
  • You were a Pennsylvania resident when you entered the U.S. Armed Forces
  • You suffered a service-connected injury or disease resulting in the loss, or loss of use, of two or more extremities, meaning arms or hands or legs or feet
  • You have at least a 40 percent disability compensation rating in each affected limb as determined by the VA
