What you'll need

The service member’s death certificate, and documentation of their South Carolina National Guard service and discharge or retirement status.

Eligibility

  • You are the family of a deceased South Carolina National Guard service member
  • The service member served at least one year in the South Carolina National Guard
  • The service member was serving, honorably discharged, or retired from the South Carolina National Guard at the time of death
