Reemployment in Texas State Employment Following Military Service

Your former Texas state or local government employer
Reemployment in the same or a similar position, with similar seniority, status and pay

You are entitled to your old job back, or one of similar seniority, status and pay, if you left a Texas state or local government job to go on active duty. If a service-connected disability you received in service stops you doing your old job, your employer has to place you in a job you can do that has similar seniority, status and pay.
