Free Rhode Island State Park Passes for 100% Disabled Veterans

Free entry and parking at state-owned recreational facilities and beaches

You can get a free State Park Disability Pass that gives you free entry and parking at state-owned recreational facilities and beaches if you have a 100 percent service-connected VA disability rating. If you cannot drive, the vehicle bringing you is not charged either.

What you'll need

Your VA Benefit Summary Letter, dated within the past year, stating that you have a 100 percent service-connected disability.

Eligibility

  • You have a 100 percent service-connected disability rating from the VA
  • You show a VA Benefit Summary Letter dated within the past year that states the 100 percent service-connected rating
  • You apply in person at the Rhode Island DEM Parks Headquarters in North Kingstown
