When your family requests it, the Rhode Island Adjutant General provides a firing squad and, when possible, a bugler to play "Taps" live rather than from a recording, at the funeral of an honorably discharged wartime veteran.
Ask your funeral director to request military funeral honors; the request goes through them, not directly to the state.
The veteran’s DD214 showing an honorable discharge and wartime service.
